The SJC Form 1 Admission Briefing Session will be held on the afternoon of 21 November. The programme includes an address by the Principal, sharing by the Vice-Principal, experience exchange with student representatives, and a live Q&A session. The event is free of charge, with a maximum of 2 seats per family, on a first-come, first-served basis. If the new hall is full, parents will be arranged to watch a live broadcast in the old hall. The session runs from 2:00 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. (registration begins at 1:30 p.m.), at the SJC New Hall (7 Kennedy Road, Central, Hong Kong) .

📝 54 Discretionary Places Offered; Application Forms Downloadable from 23 November

SJC will offer 54 Form 1 discretionary places for the 2027-2028 academic year. Parents may download the form from the school website or collect it in person from the school office starting from 23 November 2026 . Parents must submit the application form and copies of relevant documents in person at the school office during office hours from 4 to 18 January 2027 (post, fax or email will not be accepted; parents may also submit via the Education Bureau's electronic platform). All applicants will be invited to attend an interview on 27 February 2027 (Saturday). The school implements admission criteria with an extremely high interview weighting, with interview performance alone accounting for half of the total score: Interview performance 50%; Academic results and the Education Bureau's Rank Order 25%; Extracurricular activities and awards 15%; Conduct 10% (must be Excellent or Good) . SJC's Form 1 interview has no written test and consists of four components: individual interviews in Chinese, English and Mathematics, plus a group discussion. The Chinese interview is mainly conducted in Cantonese, with a small amount of Putonghua assessment; the English interview is conducted entirely in English; the Mathematics interview is assessed in English, and Principal Kwok Tik-man reminds candidates to be familiar with English mathematical concepts, as good mental arithmetic performance will earn bonus marks; the group discussion is conducted in English, around daily life topics (such as snack shop nutrition) or personal growth, testing analysis, problem-solving and communication skills .
