Description

The courses are based on "thematic teaching" and "project learning", and will be taught in English and Mandarin by specialist teachers. Theme teaching: Using the "theme learning teaching material package", a "spiral" school-based curriculum will be designed according to children's development. When preparing learning content, teachers will design game activities according to children's development needs, life experience and interests, and learn through multi-intelligence game activities such as drama, singing, scientific experiments, art and physical fitness. Project study: "Project study" is conducted in K2 and K3 courses and is arranged once in the first and second semester of each school year. Each "project study" lasts for 3-4 weeks. Teachers will help children choose topics of great interest to carry out in-depth teaching activities. During the process, children will take the initiative to take a series of actions to solve various problems through the interaction between people and the environment. The learning characteristic of "project learning" is to focus on steps. The process includes: discovering problems, determining the nature of the problems, proposing feasible suggestions and methods, experimenting and solving problems. For young children, "meaningful learning activities" will produce meaningful learning processes and results.
