Lycée Français International (French International School) was established in 1963, making it one of the earliest international schools founded in Hong Kong, and in 1988 it became the first school in Hong Kong to offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum. The school has an International Section and a French Section. Its most distinctive feature is that students are able to learn various European languages as well as Putonghua. The school places importance on academic education, with students taught by expatriate teachers.
