Description

Yew Chung Early Childhood Education has a history of more than 80 years in Hong Kong. Through global education research, Yew Chung's senior staff develop innovative, up-to-date and balanced curriculum for children. The school believes that every child is unique and should pursue his or her own personal journey, growing in the key areas of child development: emotional, personal and social; communication and literacy skills; numeracy, problem-solving and reasoning skills; understanding of the world; physical development; and creative development. The school creates an English-Chinese bilingual learning environment that stimulates children's thinking, is child-centered and game-based, and the school's dual teachers nurture the children. The four-year-old violin course allows children to love music at a young age. The teacher creates a personal resume for each child to record the child's growth in exploration. To promote home-school co-operation, the school organizes interesting workshops for parents, grandparents and carers as part of the curriculum.
