YEW CHUNG INTL SCH - SECONDARY
Description
YCIS Hong Kong provides through-train education for local and international children aged six months to 18 years. Its international curriculum nurtures students to become bilingual, internationally minded and competitive elites. The history of Yew Chung International School of Hong Kong (YCIS Hong Kong) can be traced back to 1932, when Ms Tsang Chor Hang founded the first Yew Chung school in Hong Kong. From the outset the school provided early childhood and primary education, pioneering the integration of Eastern and Western educational philosophies to establish a unique bilingual teaching model. In 1987, the school established the YCIS Primary Section, formally introducing an international curriculum system while continuing the bilingual tradition. By 1993 a Secondary Section was added, formally forming a complete, internationally accredited education system spanning early childhood education to senior secondary (K-12). Today, Yew Chung International School has eight campuses in the core area of Kowloon Tong, as well as a campus in Tseung Kwan O, providing seamless top-tier education for local and international students aged six months to 18 years.
