📊 Admission Criteria
The admission interview is scored in 4 areas: students' academic results in primary school account for 60%, extracurricular activities and conduct each account for 15%, and performance on the interview day accounts for the remaining 10%.

🗣️ Only One Round of Interviews: English and Putonghua Group Discussions
The admission interview will be held on 17 January 2027 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Applicants may choose their interview time. There is only one round of interviews, with all teachers deployed that day to meet all eligible applicants. Neither applicants nor parents need to meet the principal. Students are grouped in fours to enter a classroom and talk with 2 teachers: a 5-minute Putonghua group discussion and preparation, followed by a 6-minute English group discussion and preparation. They may leave upon completion. From 9 March next year, the school will notify successful applicants by phone.

⚠️ Avoid "Fidgeting with Fingers" During the Interview
Principal Chow generously shared "NG" moments from past applicants during interviews. He said he has observed that many students, perhaps too nervous, fail to answer the teacher's questions promptly, and remaining silent makes it difficult for teachers to award marks. Another type of applicant is more active and cannot sit still, with excessive small movements such as fidgeting with fingers, which may leave a bad impression. He reminded applicants that during the interview, they should not only react to the teacher's questions but also speak up and express their thoughts so that teachers can award marks. "The interview is only 15 minutes; applicants should try to stay relaxed, need not attend interview class drills, and just be themselves."
